Essential Care

Essential Care is our most basic level of support - perfect for small organizations and startups.
Our Essential Care plan supports organizations with up to 10 team members.
Essential Care plans start at just $300/month.

Our EDR (Antivirus) works 24/7 to protect your devices from current and emerging threats.
This is the same EDR that we offer to enterprise partners, because we take security seriously at all levels. 

A daily backup of the most critical files and folders on your device(s) 
Backup up to 25GB per managed device. 

We work with you to acquire a domain for your business.
We securely maintain it, and manage its DNS records as they need changed.
We handle any legal requirements and changes to legislature that impact your domain.

Instead of using a gmail.com or yahoo.com email address, you can brand your communication with customers and prospects in your marketing material with a dedicate email address, at your own domain.

We ensure that your devices are updated every week outside of your working hours.

Add-Ons:

We handle setup of new devices (laptops, desktops, and iPads) for you and your team members to use, ensuring that they are free of bloatware and manufacturer-sponsor applications. We charge a standard hourly rate to setup new devices. Most setups take 1 to 3 hours to complete.

We do not currently work with Lenovo devices due to manufacturer security and privacy concerns. 

Get your startup setup for success with a Microsoft 365 Business tenant – enabling you and your team communication on Microsoft Teams, the Microsoft Office Suite, and the dozens of Microsoft services to help you grow your organization. This is highly recommended if it’s affordable for your organization. 

Services start at $40/person/month for the Microsoft suite of applications and services, including email.

Core Care

Core Care is our foundational layer of support. We handle all of the background and behind the scenes work for you, like updates and patches. If you need additional support, we are here to back you up.

Two of our critical HarborGuard services are included in Core Care:

Our EDR (Antivirus) works 24/7 to protect your environment and devices from threats.
We measure how fast our EDR reacts in tenths of seconds, because every second matters when under threat.

Multi-Factor Authentication ensures that only you can login to your accounts.
We enforce MFA for your computer(s) and your Microsoft/Google Workspace accounts with DUO. 

We work to backup your data, daily. Data is encrypted as its backed up, and stored in a US datacenter.  

We include 500GB/server & 100GB/employee through our Core Care plan. Data is pooled.

Your organization has 8 employees and 2 servers. 
You would have 1,800GB (1.8TB) available for use across all that is backed up
Additional storage needs can be met with adjustments to pricing. 

We ensure that your devices and servers are updated every week outside of your standard operating hours.
We apply critical and high-urgency security patches same-day as an added benefit. 

We analyze dozens of datapoints per managed device to detect problems, and inform you with actionable steps. 
 
Here are a few examples:

> Problem: This laptop battery is discharging unusually fast.
> Fix: Review usage graphs, replace battery if necessary. 

> Problem: This desktop consistently runs at 80% RAM utilization.

We work to create and configure new employee accounts, and ensure that they have a fantastic IT onboarding. 
We are also available to handle employee account terminations.

We monitor your internal network for common issues, and keep an eye on utilization to make proactive recommendations to ensure you and your guests always have the necessary speed and Wi-Fi coverage.

Network device updates are done on the 15th of each month for our Core Care partners.

We maintain an active list of all of your in-use technology. You can request a list at any time, and see details on the status of each device. These are great for fiscal year depreciation and insurance coverage management, as well!

We check your internet every 15 minutes from 7AM to 7PM daily to make sure it’s operational. 

We run a speed-test once daily at a random time to validate that you get the speeds you pay for from your internet provider (ISP) and hold them accountable to your Service Level Agreement (SLA) with them. 

We make sure that your website is online with an automated test that runs every 3 minutes and reports on outages, loading issues, and any security concerns. 

If you have your website hosted by us (add-on), then your website is tested and validated every 15 seconds instead of every 3 minutes – and if any issues arise, our team will handle them for you automatically. 

You will receive a report from us every 3 months with details on your technology and its utilization. This report also includes any of your hardware that will likely need replaced or licensing renewed in the upcoming quarter.

We host your business website on a server in a US-based datacenter – either Chicago or New York.

We aim for 99.9% uptime, which equates to about 9 hours of downtime per year. Most downtime is due to updates and security patches to our servers. This maintenance almost always occurs outside of normal business hours.

Dedicated Resource Website Hosting is intended for highly critical websites used by businesses that have online storefronts, or news/media organizations that are targeted by hate groups. 

Dedicated Resource Website Hosting partners experience about 3 seconds of downtime, annually – an industry-leading record. Websites hosted on this plan are optimized to load in under a second for nearly any visitor.

We have strict guidelines this program, and we reserve the right to deny this service to any business for any reason.

On-site visits are available to Core Care customers at our contracted hourly rate. 
The on-site visit waiver eliminates the hourly rate for up to 2 visits of 2 hours each, per month.

Random Phishing Tests sent to all team members that test what they are being taught in the training videos. These tests identify the most at-risk associates on your team, and we use this data to further teach them the importance of cybersecurity. 

Many of our partners who utilize this service to its fullest offer bonuses and awards to their staff who pass phishing tests. This service will often result in lower cyber-insurance rates, too.

Pro Care partners receive complimentary access to your own corporate password manager – a safe place for individuals to store their passwords, and for teams to share passwords between themselves.

Pro Care customers are not billed for support, and are able to utilize our support channels during normal hours.

Partners receive up to 5 hours of on-site visits per month, included with Pro Care.
Additional visit time is billed at our contracted hourly rate. 

We maintain relationships with vendors, like your Internet Service Provider, so that we can directly communicate.
If there is an outage or service issue, we handle it for you. Gone are the days of wasting your time on hold with Spectrum technical support about an internet outage.

We work to backup your data, daily. Data is encrypted as it’s backed up, and stored in a US datacenter.  

We include 500GB/server & 200GB/employee on the Pro Care plan. Data is pooled.

You would have 2,600 GB (2.6TB) available for use across all that is backed up
Additional storage needs can be met with adjustments to pricing. 

In addition to encrypted cloud backups, RapidRecovery keeps an additional copy of your data on-site on a NAS. 
The benefit to this is not needing to rely on internet speeds, enabling restorations to be up to 95% faster.

Partners who sign 3 year Pro Care agreements receive the NAS unit for free at onboarding. 
Partners who sign 1 or 2 year agreements will need to buy RapidRecovery equipment separately. 

We ensure that your devices and servers are updated every week outside of your standard operating hours.
We ensure that critical security updates are installed as soon as they are available for Pro Care partners. 

We work to create and configure new employee accounts, and ensure that they have a fantastic IT onboarding. 
New associates joining your team receive a welcome gift from us at onboarding, too!

We are also available to handle employee account terminations. 

We monitor your internal network for common issues, and keep an eye on utilization to make proactive recommendations to ensure you and your guests always have the necessary speed and Wi-Fi coverage.

We work with you to recycle any unused technology in your office every summer.

We drop off a bin at your office and then pick it up a week later. During the week the bin is in your office, fill it with old, unused, and/or broken electronics  – like that old iPhone in the junk drawer in your kitchen.

We physically destroy any data containing devices, like hard drives, before providing to our downstream vendors who handle the rest of the recycling process. 

Team members are encouraged to bring in any unused electronics they may have at home, too!

Your Partner Success Manager is dedicated to your success with technology:

They hold a deep understanding of your organization and needs, your long-term goals, and your team’s technology pain-points. Your partner success manager will keep you in the loop on technology changes, budget planning, and will regularly make recommendations to improve efficiencies and save time. 

Partner Success Managers spend at least 2 entire days on-site at each of our Pro Care+ partner offices working directly with their teams. 

We maintain relationships with vendors like your Internet Service Provider. If there is an outage or service issue, we handle it for you by working directly with them. Gone are the days of wasting your time on hold with Spectrum technical support for an internet outage.

We go beyond managing relationships with your vendors for our Pro Care + partners:

We will work with ISPs and cell phone carriers to make sure your contracts with them are fairly priced and well-suited. At contract renewal time, we will collect quotes from other providers and present options and recommendations.

We host your business website on a server in a US-based datacenter – either Chicago or New York. 
We recommend the Chicago location for our local partners. 

We aim for 99.9% uptime, which equates to about 9 hours of downtime per year. Most downtime is due to updates and security patches to our servers. Scheduled maintenance always occurs outside of normal business hours.

If downtime is a concern, consider our Dedicated Resource Website Hosting plans.
